When we asked our readers to pick the names of the most popular novels of this year, a slew of names were suggested.
Here’s a look at the most commonly used names, according to the names on the list: “Tale of Two Cities,” “The Handmaid’s Tale,” “Fireside Chats,” “No Man’s Land,” “A Beautiful Mind” and “The Stand.”
(The last name, “Stand,” has been the subject of controversy since it was chosen for a Trump rally speech.)
A number of novel names also appeared on the top 25 list, with “A Very Murray Book” and the “Tales of the Golden Child” book of novels also making the cut.
“The Girl Who Waited” also made the list, which also includes “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn,” “Tick Tock Clock” and other popular titles.
A number other popular names that have appeared on lists like this are “The Road,” “Citizen Kane” and “The Road to Wounded Knee.”
Other popular names on these lists include “Fifty Shades Darker,” “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” and, of course, “The Princess Bride.”
